Man charged after officers say he slashed his girlfriends throat | News
BARDSTOWN, KY (WAVE) – A fight between a Nelson County couple ended with the woman's throat being cut and the man behind bars.
The fight happened Wednesday night at a home on O'Bryan Avenue in Bardstown.
Officers said Michael Auberry was fighting with his girlfriend when he pulled out a knife and slashed her across the throat.
She was able to get away and a witness called police.
Officers found two pocket knives on Auberry.
She was flown to University Hospital. He is now being charged with attempted murder.
